So my Best Friend came to visit me today at my uni house. I’ve known her for quite a few years now, but only now have I realised how different we really are... This isn’t a bad thing I guess but it makes you think ‘why are we friends?’. After some thought and spending the day showing her around town I realised that we’re close because we have a similar sense of humour. We care for each other and we are able to look past our differences. I guess these past two days with her have taught me that our friends aren’t our friends because we like the same things but because we have finally found the people (or person) that we are willing to accept for who they are and not change anything about them.
